Since its founding in 1998, Rotten Tomatoes has become the go-to site for getting a quick idea of what film critics think of a movie. Your individual tastes might vary and we all love to watch some trashy cinema every now and then but you can generally count on a film with a high score to bring some quality to the table. If you really want the cream of the crop, though, you can look for the films that racked up a unanimous critical endorsement and scored the coveted 100%.

    1) Long Time Companion – who cares what the LGBTIQ (alphabet soup) community say about anything? At this point they are a bunch of lunatics shrieking at anything and everything that remotely hurts their 'feels' and demanding far more attention than their 4% ratio to the population should accord them. Oh, and they eat their own, as is evidenced here.

    2) Terminator – who cares about "empowering" female characters? Only ideologues and imbeciles. Having endlessly empowered female characters is BORING. It's the same character again and again and again. This is why modern female characters suck. There's no, dare I say it, DIVERSITY. Vulnerability is what allows you to empathize with a character. It is also what creates jeopardy and tension around that character. Tension and jeopardy keep us INTERESTED in the character arc. No vulnerability and the film becomes like watching your best friend play an FPS on god-mode … a yawn fest. E.g. Rey from the new Star Wars trilogy. Linda Hamilton from Terminator, and Ripley from Aliens are perfect examples of good storytelling. They are characters who EARN their later abilities and skills. We take that journey with them and we respect and admire them for their ability to transcend their weaknesses.

Going to stop there and dislike your video. It's just "racism, racism, racism" ad nauseum. I have no time for this guff. John Wayne's overt racism, black-face etc. were contemporaneous and only a fucking idiot takes offense at them today.

You forgot the part where she terminates the terminator sent to terminate her.

Yes she was a damsel in distress, but she grew a pair balls before Kyle Reese sacrifice himself.

Really….The Terminator does not stand up to the test of time…..because feminism?!!! Pathetic….what makes her such an amazing character in T2 is she grew as a person, became a survivor and a fighter from her experience. You are part of the Liberal infection that plagues our society. You are corrupt and dishonest in you values when you push an agenda like this…because it invalidates the importance of this film. Personally, I sick and tire of this easily offended society we live in. A lot of these films are examples of how far we have progressed in our society….and by the way you and people like you analyse them….just how far we have regressed. It's people who think like you who want to tare down statues of Robert E. Lee and confederate soldiers…because they were racist, or George Washington, because he owned slaves. This is backward thinking, instead of progressing forward. Your entire comment section is inundated with people sick and tired of the regressive nonsense. How about the racist nonsense in The Black Panther….or were you not offended at being hooted at for being white, colonizer? But that's right, you can't be racist toward white people because racism = privilege + power. Because that is the society we live in now. I prefer a time where movies were not trying to indoctrinate me into hating myself, where stories were just great stories, but now even Star Wars is even plagued with Identity Politics. There is a culture war going on right now, and I want you to know that you are on the side that is going to lose…. Just look at dislike rating.

The original Terminator is timeless, regardless of what year it was made.
Sara Conner is iconic and it was said in the movie that she would become empowered later in life.
With your reasoning, ALL movies haven't aged well because of the culture of the time.
    Bad move Looper.

I was expecting objective, not subjective. Half these criticisms are not based on the film's own merits. You could say Citizen Kane and The Godfather haven't aged well based on some of these criteria.

Don't see why Terminator is on this list. It's aged perfectly. All your reasons don't really up up to well.

There terminator commentary is very tone deaf. It's the 80's and the music and dress fit the era; in essence, it's a time capsule. Sarah's comments were completely ignorant to the arc of the character. No one comes put of the womb like a baby rambo-it's something you learn. Also, when you look at the beginning of a person's journey and then the end of it, and you judge her beginning as unsuitable, you really cheapen and demean her journey throughout her ordeals in life. It's very innapropriate. Obviously, being a 20-something college student working a summer job, she isn't expected to know much about anything and have had no experience fighting for her life, so having a trained soldier carry her around and keep her safe makes perfect sense to the plot.

As for the Searchers, I've never seen the movie, but the "blatant racism" you showed was a white guy dressed as an Iroquois and a plot with a native American woman thinking she's married to a white guy, these aren't racist things. And as for his stating he'd kill his niece if she was defiled, etc. That goes in character with his portrayal of someone who has a strong hatred for an entire people for what he considers a great crime to him and his family. It doesn't make him look like a monster- it makes him Captain Nemo in the west, rather than at sea. Those two commentaries were very tone deaf.

Terminator should not be on the list. The first Terminator movie is not outdated. Still great. The second movie is also great. But the new Terminator movies are a bunch of crap.

You know, when I saw the first trailer for Terminator: Genisys, it made me not want to see it because the first thing that popped into my mind was that they were redoing the first Terminator but with Terminator 2’s Sarah Connor already established. And though that was done because the image of her as a meek 19-year-old college student/waitress hiding under a desk from the killer robot from the future that can take down an entire police station full of armed cops by itself to get to her and needing to be protected by the homeless stalker she now believes is the soldier from the future that is trying to protect her from it that he claims to be just won't fly in this day and age. Never mind that this was one of the things that led her to become the same person that would pump shotgun shell after shotgun shell one armed into the massively upgraded replacement of that killer robot a decade later. Let's show the massive respect we have for this cinematic icon by massively disrespecting their path to becoming that icon and erasing it. Back then I thought I was paranoid, but this… Thanks for confirming my delusions as facts.
