In a recent online poll, women were asked to name their top 5 most desired
muscle groups on a man. The problem is, knowing what is wanted without
knowing how to get it is not going to help you. So, we put together this video
of the 5 best exercises for men to help develop the muscles most wanted by
women.

Obviously, not everyone watching this will care about impressing other women.
Whether it be other men they want to look good for, or simply just want to look
good for themselves, this is sure to help.

With that said, here’s the countdown of the 5 most desired muscle groups (as
reported by women in an online poll) and the best exercises for men to do for
each one.

5. Shoulders

Wider shoulders help to create the V-taper and improve the appearance of a man
even when wearing a shirt. There is no better exercise for building the medial deltoid
than the side dumbbell raise. Lower the weight slightly and perform these in 1 1/2 rep
style to accentuate the contraction of the delt and build your shoulders faster.

4. Biceps

Having impressive biceps sticking out of your shirt sleeves signifies that you are serious
about your body. The barbell curl is a great way to build up your biceps, however I show
you a slight cheat to add as well that will help you to add more size. Be careful not to
overdo the cheat however as you don’t want to take away all of the benefits of the exercise.

3. Chest

Of course the chest was going to be on this poll right? In order to build your pecs, you’ll want
to perform a version of the bench press. The underhand grip bench press is great because it
activates the upper fibers of the chest even more than an incline bench press does while allowing
you to perform the exercise in a better, safer shoulder position. For those that have shoulder discomfort with the regular bench press, this has an added benefit.

2. Abs

No doubt a killer set of six pack abs is high on the list. To best get them, include a hanging ab exercise to intensify your ab training. Incorporate rotation into the move so you can additionally hit the obliques. Sharpening the obliques helps to visually improve the tapering of your waist, even if you tend to have a blockier waist. The hanging clock exercise is perfect for all of these reasons.

1. Glutes

As somewhat of a surprise number one, the glutes are tops on the list of muscles women would like to see their men develop. As always with leg training, you want to train athletically. The sprinter lunge is a perfect opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. Leaning forward at the waist ignites the glutes and posterior chain much more than the quads.

    Shit the ab workout was really hard for me, I was able to get 10 in a set, I'm going to set a goal to get to 30, 3 sets just because it will be very difficult for myself, but I got it

    Just because you have visible abs doesnt mean youre more explosive or athletic lmao. You dont get abs from the gym, you get them from the kitchen. Almost everyone could have a nice set of visible abs if they just dieted to a lower bodyfat%.

    There are plenty of sports and athletes out there without visible abs at all, because guess what? Having such a low bodyfat% has its downsides, mainly in endurance.

    I disagree “having shredded abs” does not make you more athletic. Throwers don’t have shredded abs. I know they are more explosive than you.

    Chance of pulling something .Last your Chest the Thickness of your weights Stops you from,Contracting at the top.I could contract my left right right down the Med of the chest togeather , the more you build the upper part were Chest and the upper part ties in is what gives you thinkness , hard to Explane when you pose say your biceps under yourare pit TO HARD TO EXPLANE

    I thought for sure the upper back was gonna be on the list, but guess I was wrong! Atleast here in Sweden, many of my female friends prefer a muscular back, but maybe that's because we were strong and wide vikings once or something lol. Sorry for my bad grammar 😀

    Isn't that type of lunge dangerous for the spine? Your back is curved on the way back and you have to lift the dumbbells with it.

    Most women are out of shape either skinny or fat. Men are always sexier but i hate it when men dont develope their glutes and other hip muscles, its unbalanced and that muscle group is just as important as the abs
