Such a good video. I'm glad you finally collaborated! Tara, I watched both videos and I suggest that next time you collaborate with someone, let them speak more. I felt like you were constantly interrupting her in both videos. I adore the two of you, especially you, since you're so relatable. I just had this observation.

Liked this video a lot! great insight, although I would have liked to hear Erika speak a little bit more, with less interruption, I'm sorry if that sounded harsh!! I just mean I've heard your views on some of the questions before, and not Erika's, so I would have liked more of a flow of her opinions!

As someone who was born & raised in the Northeast US, I found this so interesting! Your perspective on the price of living here vs Ireland and your experiences with internships and life here in general is so interesting. Like how you think moving into an apartment devoid of furniture is odd – that's so normal here! I never even though it'd be odd for someone from another country!

I'm really surprised you could even do an unpaid internship. I'm pretty sure they have to offer you some kind of compensation (even if it's just college credit), otherwise it's illegal? I think?

I have a question about internships in NYC – are they more geared towards students? I find in Toronto that a lot of the internships that I would be qualified for are for students & I can't apply to them. Would love to try move to NYC one day!

Hi guys! thanks for watching and for all the feedback good and bad! I’m very open to improving the way I do collabs in the future and learned a lot from my first go at it so and all comments on what I can improve have been taken on board for the future & always appreciate the constructive respectful tips on improving! We both had such a laugh shooting and hope to do more!

Hahhaha, you two are so funny but I’ve also learned that no ceiling lights and unfurnished apartments are normal for the US

Loved these vids! I found you through Erika a few weeks back when she mentioned you got a new flat. Would be great to see more collabs with the two of you. Enjoyed the quickfire Q&A at the end so maybe a more extended version of that would be cool.

Great video! I noticed You guys compare New York versus Ireland. One city versus a country. New York is a world city all its own. The more you travel, I think you’ll see that other cities in the US are similar to other cities in other countries. Think NYC versus your time in New Orleans. they are worlds apart, yet in the same country. I hope you get to explore more of the regular US before you leave. Love your videos.

I have interned in wholesale and production in handbags and I totally wish I knew before growing up a little not to be taken advantage of. I was born a “yes” girl so it was super easy for me to immediately agree to staying late hours. It is so important to stand up for yourself and speak out! Would love to see more videos like this one 🙂

Interesting that now blogs are kind of on the way out b/c of You Tube and there is a growing backlash with social media and engagement on IG is down b/c of all the faking. Hmm. Three hundred pounds a week, good Lord where wear you commuting from wow.

Literally a dream come true to see you two collab! so glad you made such an informative video answering all of those questions i've always wondered about New York and what it takes to live and work there x It is so interesting that the industry is actually observing what you guys were saying about feeds looking the same because it really is getting frustrating as a follower and a producer of content. They aren't providing any value to their followers by their feed looking the same and being "strateigic", they are simply being strateigic in the way they sell their brand and only adding value in the form of actual money in their pockets from these posts? I really want to know how you feel about this, like are people losing sight of what made their followers follow them in the first place just because they are being paid to post in a "strateigic" way?
