It's just like here in Tel Aviv. I pay about 1200$ a month for a 2 bedroom aparment which isn't too small but it's old af and the landlord won't renovate or even set up an air-conditioner. When I entered the apartment, I had to pay more than 600$ extra to my friend (who'd left for a good life in Vienna) just to have an AC and a closet. Since then, I paid more than 2500$ extra just to have my furniture and electric stuff. I literally have almost zero money left in the end of the month, so I try to rethink everything I spend on as well, even food and transportation. There are no parking spots here, the lots are always packed and if not, they're too expensive. Everything is old and too noisy and crowded, so I don't sleep well and I wake up 2 hrs earlier every day just to make it to work in time, which is also here in central TLV. And don't get me started on how everything in Israel is expensive and limited – and the salaries are wayyyyy too minimal compared to other Western countries, especially the US. I'm now looking for a place outside this city, even a Kibbutz is better. It's so so tough in here, the people think the sun shines from their behinds, terrorism threatens everyday life, you basically live to work and don't work to live, the climate is evil especially to us girls and there's so much more. I remember living in LA and it was sooo much better!

Hi gorgeous! Could you talk a little bit about your visa situation? From internship and transitioning to actual work. It'll be super helpful for future international students (like myself)!

I am glad I found your channel, I am an Aussie that wants to makes to move to NY after Uni. I visit New York as much as I can and NY is definitely my favorite place on Earth. I know that you gotta hustle hard over there and I am prepared for that. I am soon be a graduate in the field of Urban Planning and Property thus why NY is of interest. Would it be easier to try and find a place in Williamsburg, Brooklyn or even over in Jersey? Cheaper rents and still within affordable PT to the city?
