How to Faux Calligraphy + DIY Chalkboard Design Tips

Welcome to my chalkboard art series! This is going to be my DIY guide to all things chalk art. In this video I’m showing you some of my basics as well as how to create faux calligraphy lettering. I’m planning on showing you how to draw multiple different designs, more lettering styles, holiday-specific chalkboard design ideas, and maybe how to use your chalkboard around your home. If you have any chalk video requests, leave me a comment below. Also, I’d LOVE for you to subscribe to catch the rest of the series and of course to be my internet friend! 🙂

do you have any tips for using chalk on paper? i wanted to try and do wrapping paper with the person's name in the chalk- calligraphy style at different sizes to almost make a pattern, but i'm not sure if i should go and use straight chalk or something similar to a chalk pen. Any tips?

Thank you so much! This really helped me to better understand how to make fuller letters. I'm not too good with chalk and this boosted my ability so much!
