But Andrew's height was not enough to open the door ..Then how did it happen ??
I think may be it's Travis who opened the door ..may be in sleep

The monster is at 7:07 behind the tree to the right, you can see it's arm poke out briefly so the dog definitely sensed something was there, what else would trigger a dog to suddenly start barking and give chase? The dog also stopped barking abruptly soon after chasing it instead of fading out, so something definitely caught the dog, it might have been the same thing that opened the door and delivered it back home in the middle of the night, the dog couldn't have broken in if it were injured. That scene is the only hint in the entire movie but it's enough to be certain that 'it' is definitely a monster and the source of the disease, their paranoia and distrust does the rest. It definitely makes it a lot scarier as it proves there's something out there but leaves it up to our imagination as we never see it in full, so it's our fear of the unknown that creates the scariest monster possible in our own minds.

This movie was a waste of such an awesome title. I expected an interesting indie horror film like Let the Right One In, It Follows, or Babadook. If the film didn't use that title, and if they didn't shoot scenes that all but imply that there is something in the woods I would have liked this so much better. As it is now, I think that a title that simple, cool, and creepy, should have been left to another film.

It was totally the grandfather's fault. He was lonely and also upset about being burned, so he came back as a ghost. First, ghostie gramps lured Stanley into the woods. Then he haunted Andrew, opened the door and went back into his room. (Travis found Andrew in the grandfather's room.) Travis was closest to the grandfather, so he kept intercepting the doom in his dreams. #WaitForInfection #Sabotage #FamilyReunion #CaseClosed

I think travis may have infected everyone else, when he went outside and grabbed the gun remember the look of fear on his face. It looked like he encountered the creature or whatever it was that grabbed stanley, it's possible that whatever was outside may have erased his memory?

Ive watched a lot of dumb things in my life that made me say, "why did I just waste my time watching that?" This movie was one of them. I get the point of the movie, but the ending just felt fuckin lazy and half assed.

If that little kid wasn't there they might have survived all of this the thing that made them get killed was trusting the other family which just shows that you can't trust everybody

If the film makers had explained that it was a post-apocalyptic paranoia film about a plague i probably would have watched it. but the vague trailer was off putting.

since the trailer and title are misleading, I feel like they could've made the virus essentially turn you into a deadly "beast", which would explain the noises and monsters and make the movie a hell of a lot scarier. The disease could cause extreme thinning of skin to the point where any prolonged sun exposure would cause serious damage, so the monsters only came out at night. The rest of the movie couldve played out normally though, just with the threat of those monsters as well as each other.

A brilliant film, happy to see good intelligent horror today, a film that immerses you and forces you to think. Even the smallest detail, like a painting can give background information on what happened outside. The void, The witch and now this. Horror is reinvented itself for the better. Even though the spoon fed masses give it negative reviews. The critics on the other hand were spot on.
