Modern Tower Apartment | Rooftop Terrace with AMAZING VIEW of Tuscany – Medieval structure

We had a tour of a 12th century tower in San Giminiano in Italy, which has been converted into an apartment with eight stories. Such a cool place! The levels are connected by an iron staircase, which looks great against the stone walls. Every level is used for something, and space isn’t wasted. The view from the roof top is absolutely incredible and well worth taking all the stairs up! There are two bathrooms, two kitchens (with one being a full sized one and one being smaller), two bedrooms – where one has bunkbeds – and lots of other things. This apartment is very unique and we had so much fun checking it out!

I've been to San Gimingiano and all the towers were the best sight! Funny to know now that someone lives in one! What a cool and unique space.

Instead of those stairs they NEED an elevator ! Those were cool looking radiators for the heat, but what about AC ? with the lack of windows it could very warm on the upper floors.

I couldn't do that shower, it reminds me of spiders. The place gives me a basement creepy feeling, spidery.

WOW! This place is fantastic. How did they ever get the larger pieces of furniture up there? They must have built them in place.Great idea to have a little kitchen just below the terrace. Can you imagine carrying your food all the way from the bottom floor to the top? Your ice cream would be melted before you got there. The architect who designed this really knew what he/she was doing. Amazingly spectacular views.

Very cool apartment, but definitely for the young! Also, I could hate to have an emergency living there or sickness. lol But a cool place for sure!

This is a cool idea for an airbnb or second home, but I can't imagine actually living there as my first home 🙂
