    Maybe I'm seeing too much into it, but maybe the tarantula is supposed to represent Soviet Russia during the cold war. It said that bullets and dynamite can't stop it and that is exactly what happened during the cold war. Also it could represent what might happen if we allow or are passive to soviet Russia.

    Or it could be a movie about a big spider.

    I wish they would have never taken the 1955 Tarantula move off from here , I had every good movie from that era but they have all been removed

    I think it’s a movie about nuclear power. Sov Russia didn’t get out of US control, but nuclear power threatens to do so, and to do massive and unstoppable damage.

    Though it could be just a movie about a spider as big as a hill.
