It’s hard to pin point exactly what makes a cult classic but the best way to describe a cult film is that it is great for some but not for others.
These films attract a very niche but dedicated following. The reason being is that cult classics often centre around weird characters and plots and have very memorable lines of dialogue.
Often times these films totally bomb at the box office but over the years attract a loyal, ‘cult’ like following.
