"Strings" really need to be on this list!!!!

It took 10 years to make, the sunset and everything is painted by hand, and the way they work those wooden doll marionettes is unbelievable!!

Oh, and I recommend the original danish voices!!

"Days of Heaven" is unusually beautiful for the lack of trickery– set in the hard times early 20th century midwest among wandering migrant farmhands, no fancy technology, just natural light and framing like a Wyeth painting from almost every point of view.
"Blade Runner" and "Tree of Life" will be my favorites (and "Blade Runner" has been for many years before its second life as a cult fave) … Douglas Trumbull should be honored for all he's done for movies over the years, with a separate award other than Oscars.

07:11 – The vastness of the Sahara desert? Come on, WatchMojo, do you ever verify your research or are you just particularly ignorant of geography? "Lawrence of Arabia" is set in the Arabian desert and coincidentally also was shot there, in Jordan.

I'm somewhat disappointed in the omission of ”Last of the Mohicans". The cinematography was breathtakingly beautiful.

There are a bunch of Chinese movies that are absolutely stunning, especially when it comes to color. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is an example.

Citizen Kane should’ve actually made the list instead of being just an honorable mention. I would’ve also included The Shining, and I would’ve at least added an honorable mention to The Virgin Suicides.

Francis Ford Coppola did an awesome film The Black Stallion. For 45 minutes no one spoke and you don't even notice.
