This countdown covers the likes of the showdown scene in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, the silent cell phone call from The Departed featuring Leonardo Dicaprio and Matt Damon, when Michael Corleone becomes the don in the Godfather, featuring Al Pacino, the miracle cease-fire baby scene in Children of Men, The Elevator Scene in Drive, the Final Scene in Titanic, the Pitch Black Silence of the Lambs scene where Clarice kills Buffalo Bill, the opening scene from There Will Be Blood, and the Pianist

The Pan-Am shuttle space station scene from 2001 is still the greatest and most realistic scene in sci-fi movie history.

People need to remember that MatchMojo doesn't make their own lists, they let other people pick the choices on their website, and whichever gets the most votes by the time the video is going to be worked on is what the list ends up becoming.

Other than that, honestly I am happy that Children of Men got the be first place. I love that movie.

the departed only 10 place? that's pretty much the best and more tense scene in the whole movie.
Also, the deer scene in Stand by me is good candidate in my opinion

If you wanted to put silent duels in there, personally, I prefer the duel at the end of Once Upon a Time In the West.

“Man recreates dinosaurs” from Jurassic Park. Steven Spielberg loves to use only visuals and score but no dialogue to get the emotions across. Few movies ever have accomplished this as well as when Sam McNeil, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum stand up, take their glasses off and let their jaws drop in amazement, building the intensity to a triple degree fever pitch, until we audiences finally see a Brachiosaurus that does not look cheesy at all. It probably wasn’t intentional that the actors’ reaction would reflect that of the audience, but either way, it certainly did.
