Apocalypto. The Fall. Watchmen. Go. Cabin in the woods. Looper. Criminal. Mallrats. Grandmas boy. Edge of tomorrow. These are more overlooked than underrated I guess.

…and, BTW , it would have helped the movie's credibility if in the movie A Simple Plan, they didn't use a toy baby doll as a stand in for a real baby , and the whole audience could plainly see that it was a doll when it was of course supposed to be a real baby….that ruined the movie for me.

Shane Acker's "9" (2009) is an incredible movie with beautiful worldbuilding and original concepts. Tim Burton also worked on it, giving it his signature darkness and elements of mystery. It may be animated and targeted towards children, however, this movie has terrifying imagery and is enjoyable for any age. I believe that this movie is severely underrated and definitely deserves to be on this list.

For me Clue (1980 something). People always talk about Ghostbusters and Groundhog Day when talking 80s comedies, but Clue is always the first movie I think of. The end of it in particular is gold.

The Life Aquatic is a great film – but I can understand it not being a hit at the box office. And the same goes for The Assassination of Jesse James…..' which though it eulagises an outlaw is a very well made film. And 'Dredd' was a good take on the Judge Dread stories.
