sholay didn't do well in the first two weeks and then picked up from third week to become the biggest Bollywood blockbuster ever some say sholay sold 25 cr tickets
hum aap ke hain koun sold – 7 cr
    baahubali 2 5.6 cr
    gadar – 5 cr
    ddlj 4.9 cr

even hahk saw a limited release and then started performing from Week 16

You should have mention among the best work of Imitiaz Ali till Yet : Highway, Socha na tha and Tamasha… I still felt bad that Tamasha, the movie better than Rockstar at most of the points, was a flop movie of the year 2015 similarly Highway and Socha na tha also.

Amitabh copied Al Pacino of Scarface, not Brando. Both films are very similar.

rockstar is the best movie for me. The emotional scenes were great. All Indians were hungry for full of romance movies . Romance is not everything guys , drama is also important

Kagaz ke phool was awesome movie… it was made way beyond its time…. it's a must watch… and u can't call sholey a flop.. yes it was considered as a flop at first… but later, this movie broke the boxoffice record of mughal e azam and it took 15 years for any movie to break mughal e azam's boxoffice record…

In agneepath , i doubt he tried to copy marlon brando…..rather i see a lot of similarity with tony montana's depiction by al pacino in scarface
